PIG Radio was born in 2005 when PIG Mag started it’s own webradio station that broadcast music non-stop 24/7. Similar to the magazine, PIG Radio’s talks about young and emerging artists. Today PIG Radio is one of the most famous eclectic radio stations on the internet, a great achievement for a radio that plays independent music! PIG Radio is also listed in the radio selection of Apple’s iTunes, which is installed on millions of computers worldwide. Its unique style of eclectic music varies from indie rock to electronic, pop to alternative.

PIG Mag (People In Groove) has been created in 2001 by Daniel and Simon Beckerman, and is the first, and most important, independent lifestyle monthly publication in Italy.

PIG Mag is based in Milan and distributed in the best located news stands across Italy and major cities throughout the world. For almost 10 years the magazine has been discovering young, fresh and talented artists mainly in music, fashion, photography and also cinema, art and design.

Among the most important cover stories the magazine has featured music artists at the beginning of their career such as Justice, Phoenix, Tiga, Robyn, Erol Alkan, Sebastien Tellier, The xx, St. Vincent, Lykke Li, Cut Copy, Annie and many more as well as already known names like The Beastie Boys.

Throughout the years PIG Mag has worked with photographers such as Kenneth Capello, Nacho Alegre, Marlene Marino, Skye Parrott, James Pearson-Howes, Paul Herbst and Ben Rayner, just to name few.
